Transitional Kindergarten
Students who are considered for this grade level are those who:
- Must be four years old on or before August 31 of the current year
Kindergarten
Students who are considered for this grade level are those who:
- Must be 5 years of age by August 31st of the current year
Grades 1 - 4
Students who are considered for enrollment are those who:
- Have a satisfactory citizenship record in the school they are presently attending
- Have demonstrated readiness for the grade level for which they are applying
Grades 5 – 8
Students who are considered by the Admissions Committee for enrollment are those who:
- Desire to attend Colville Valley Junior Academy and agree to comply with the school’s standards
- Have a satisfactory citizenship record in the school they are presently attending
- Are achieving an average of at least a “C” grade in the present school year in all subjects
- Have demonstrated on previous report cards and standardized tests that they are adequately prepared to achieve at their grade level
Applications for all students are evaluated using the following criteria:
- A general application
- References from the student’s present academic teacher, counselor, principal, Pastor, and/or close friend
- Copies of the latest report card (grades 1-8) and standardized test (grades 4-8)
- A personal interview with a school official
The Admissions Committee will consider, on an individual basis, students who do not meet the above criteria.
